It's Already Friday?

This week has absolutely flown by.  I guess that's what happens when our lives are consumed with family and kid stuff, fast-tracked work deadlines, triathlon training, and non-planned events.  I can't say that we're so busy we don't have time to enjoy some down moments, but they are somewhat irregular, and we sure enjoy them when we get them.

We've been enjoying the new season of 24.  We were at one point getting tired of the sameness of the series, but maybe it was the year off that has made it fun again for us to watch.  We also have all the new LOST episodes on the DVR just waiting to be watched.  I know we're behind, but it's almost like we want to savor the opportunity to watch them and then choose just the right time where we can enjoy - devoid of other pressures or needs.  So I'll guess we'll be getting to LOST right around never...  We (mainly those of us of the female persuasion) have also been sucked in again by American Idol.

Great news for Dan, who just got a job offer to work for Microsoft up in Seattle.  We're happy for him, because it's a worrisome time to be finishing school and finding a job.  We knew he'd find something good, but we didn't know he'd sell his soul.  :-)

This weekend: Micah and Kennan piano recital, Micah and Morgan tennis if the rain holds off, possibly the Chinese New Year parade up in SF, and normal stuff.

24 is always entertaining. And John, if you haven't seen it, Battlestar Galactica is fabulous. Rent it thru Netflix or Blockbuster and start from the MiniSeries and Season 1. It is great.

Nice job for Dan...glad that worked out for him.
